David Logan: Mathematical Methods in Biology
A new upper-division, graduate-level mathematical biology book by Professor David Logan and Bill Wolesensky (Doane College), published in 2009, in the prestigious Pure and Applied Mathematics series by John Wiley & Sons. The book contains material on classical ecological models using differential and difference equations, Leslie models, and it has chapters on probability, stochastic processes, stochatic differential equations and statistical inference, including bootstrap methods.
